The 4-point operator standard

What we verify.

Every listing on the site has cleared all 4 of these checks before going live. After listing, operators update their details directly through the claim-this-listing flow on their profile. We run automated liveness checks and re-verify any time a user reports an issue.

    Business operating > 12 months

    State business registry check, LinkedIn-confirmed founders, and a first listing on a competing prep directory dated no later than 12 months before your application.

  2. 02

    FDA registration confirmed via fda.gov

    If you claim FDA registration (required for supplements, food, cosmetics), we verify the establishment registration number in the FDA establishment database.

  3. 03

    Website returns 200 + matches Amazon-FBA keywords

    Your domain resolves, HTTP 200 on / and /contact, and prominent mention of Amazon FBA, FNSKU, or prep services. Generic 3PL pages without FBA copy don't qualify.

  4. 04

    Manual editor review on listing + on user reports

    A human reads your listing before publication and cross-checks against seller forums and complaints. We re-review any time a seller reports an issue, and automated liveness checks flag a dropped site between reviews. The listing flips to flagged at the first credible red flag.

Disqualifiers

We will turn you down if any of these are true.

Most of the 18 centers we've reviewed so far failed on one of these. We share them up front so operators don't waste their time or ours.

  • Operating less than 12 months under the same business name.
  • No working phone number or contact details listed anywhere on the website.
  • Website is a single-page form with no FBA-specific copy.
  • Claims FDA registration without a verifiable establishment number in the fda.gov database.
  • Reddit, BBB, or seller-forum complaints about lost inventory within the last 6 months, with no public response.
  • Pure 3PL with FBA prep as one of many adjacent services (we route these to /fba-prep-3pl/ as outbound recommendations, not as fbaprepfinder listings).

Process

Three steps to a verified listing.

    Submit your URL

    Fill out the form below with your business name, website URL, year founded, primary services, and headquarters city, region, and country. Everything except the required fields just helps us triage.

  2. Step 02

    Complete verification

    We run the 4 checks over roughly 2 weeks. We email you if anything fails; most clarifications resolve in 1 email. We don't ghost; if you don't hear from us, write us again.

  3. Step 03

    Your listing goes live

    On verification, your profile publishes at /prep-centers/[your-slug]/ with a freshness badge dated to your most recent check. You appear in city, state, and service pages relevant to your offering.

What you get

What a listing actually delivers.

Inbound seller traffic. The site launched in May 2026. Inbound seller leads are currently in the low double digits per month and growing. We forward qualified inquiries to listed centers within 24 hours of receipt. No exclusivity, no revenue share.

A full profile page. Name, address, phone, email, hours, services list, certifications, capacity, pricing tier, last-verified date, and a verification log table. LocalBusiness JSON-LD with your geo coordinates emitted server-side.

Appearances in geo pages. Your listing shows up in city, state, and service-type pages relevant to your operation. As we publish more geo pages, your listing flows into them automatically.

A trust signal we don't fake. Stale listings get visibly flagged. Centers that fail re-verification get moved to archive (URL stable, page preserved, marked). We don't pretend everyone is verified forever.

Cost and sponsorship posture

What it costs.

Verified Listing tier: $0. A full profile page with NAP, services, capacity, certifications, and a freshness badge. No charge to list, no charge to maintain. The only ongoing requirement is staying current on re-verification.

Featured and Sponsored tiers: not for sale yet. We do not run paid placement as of 2026-05-14. When we do, we'll disclose it on every page where a sponsored listing appears, with the sponsor flagged at the entry. We don't accept affiliate commissions from listed centers.

How much does it cost to list our prep center?
$0. Verified listings are free at the moment. We may offer Featured and Sponsored placements in the future; if we do, every page where they appear will say so explicitly with the sponsor flagged at the entry. No affiliate commissions, no revenue share, no exclusivity.
How long does verification take?
We run all 4 checks over roughly 2 weeks from the date we receive your email. If we need clarification on any check, we email you and pause the clock until you respond.
What does the listing actually deliver?

Can a UK, Canadian, or German prep center get listed?
Yes. We accept prep centers in the US, UK, Germany, and Canada. The same 4-point standard applies; the registry check is run against the relevant national source. Pick your country on the application form. If you operate elsewhere, apply anyway and select Other; we keep those on file as we expand.
How is this different from Amazon's Service Provider Network (SPN)?
Amazon's SPN is the obvious alternative and the right call for centers Amazon has already vetted. We're a better fit for: centers Amazon hasn't reviewed yet, centers that serve DTC and FBA together, and smaller operators (under 50 staff) who can't navigate Amazon's enterprise vetting process. We're not a replacement for SPN; we're a parallel path.
What disqualifies a prep center from getting listed?
Six disqualifiers are listed on this page. The two most common: under 12 months trading and a single-page site with no FBA-specific copy. We also decline pure 3PLs where FBA prep is one of many services; those go on our /fba-prep-3pl/ outbound recommendations page instead.
Can we appeal a verification failure?
Yes. Email hello@fbaprepfinder.com with the specific check that failed and what's changed. We re-run the verification within 5 business days of receiving an appeal. The bar to overturn an editor review is a documented public response (Reddit post, BBB resolution, customer testimonial with name and company).
Do you require exclusivity?
No. Listing with us does not preclude listing on prepcenter.com, amzprep.com, Helium 10, or any other directory. We don't ask for exclusivity, we don't ask for first-look on leads, and we don't ask for any contract beyond agreeing to keep your published information current.
