Tennessee for high-volume FBA prep.
The case for Tennessee sellers actually pay attention to, plus the caveats we routinely have to remind sellers about during matching calls.
Tennessee is a national-reach pick. Amazon's Nashville-area FC at Lebanon, the Chattanooga sortable and non-sortable pair, and Memphis put the state on I-40 and I-65, and a Middle Tennessee prep center reaches most of the eastern US inside a one-day ground lane. Sellers splitting demand between the Southeast and the Midwest get a central launch point without Atlanta or Chicago rents.
The published roster is three operators: Gallatin (northeast of Nashville) and Dresden (northwest Tennessee) multi-service centers with published per-unit cards, and a Nashville 3PL with an FBA prep line priced by quote. Published entry rates run from $0.87 per unit on one card to $1.45 per unit on another, with size surcharges above the headline rates.
Where the prep actually sits.
Middle Tennessee is the operator base: K&K Prep Solutions (Gallatin) is 30 minutes from the Lebanon FC, and Warehousing Pro sits in Nashville itself. My Fulfillment Team in Dresden covers the northwest corner between Memphis and Nashville. Chattanooga and Memphis carry Amazon capacity but have no published prep operator yet.
What sellers miss.
Tennessee charges 7% state sales tax plus local rates, among the highest combined rates in the country, so the case is reach, not tax. One operator is 14 months old, one publishes no email and is listed but not shortlisted, and both published rate cards carry conditions (volume breaks tied to a seven-day window, size surcharges) that the profiles spell out. Read the cards before comparing headline rates.

Get matched to verified centers →K&K Prep Solutions
K&K Prep Solutions is a prep center in Gallatin, Tennessee, half an hour from Nashville, handling Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS prep alongside FBM fulfillment, warehousing and distribution. They publish two prep rate cards and which one you are on matters. Wholesale and private label runs $0.87 per unit under 1,000 units a month, $0.75 from 1,000 and $0.68 from 2,500. Online and retail arbitrage is a separate, higher card at $1.45, $1.35 and $1.25, with sticker removal included. Both cover inspection, SKU verification, FNSKU and carton labeling, dunnage, 14 days of storage and 12 months of invoice retention. Receiving is free only when the carrier unloads at their dock, and the shipment plan covers one inbound destination at $10 for each extra. Poly bags run $0.30 to $0.50 by size, multi-packs $0.15 and bundles $0.25, and anything over 18 inches or 5 lbs adds $1.25 a unit, over 20 lbs $2.25. No monthly minimums or long-term commitment, a $50 minimum invoice on outbound shipments, and 24 to 48 hour standard prep. They take parcel, pallet, LTL and truckload at a commercial dock. The caution is age. The footer calls K&K a division of Computer Dimensions LLC, but that company registered in Tennessee in July 2025, a day after the domain, so the whole operation is about fourteen months old.
My Fulfillment Team
My Fulfillment Team is a family-owned prep center in Dresden, Tennessee, operating since 2014, with storage and a ready-ship e-commerce line behind the Amazon work. The rate card is the most itemized in this batch: standard processing is $1.45 per unit for 1 to 29 pieces and $1.15 from 30, covering receiving, unboxing, visual inspection and labeling. The $1.15 rate depends on reaching 30 pieces within seven days on their prep floor, after which the balance moves to storage or is billed at $1.80 a cubic foot per 30 days. Bagging runs $1.90, bubble wrapping $2.15 plus $0.55 per foot, bundles or multi-packs $3.05 up to 12 units, jewelry and books $1.90, shoes $2.85 a pair, and expiration or suffocation labels $0.10 each. A $10 minimum applies to every prep order, inventory arriving before it is entered in their software adds $0.50 a unit, and boxes run $2.45 to $7.25 separately. Storage is $0.70 per cubic foot per month with no long-term fee, after a one-time $189 setup. Processing is 24 to 48 hours, first in first out. Two cautions. They are not climate-controlled and take meltables only between October 16 and April 14. And their pages disagree about size, 100,000 sq ft on the homepage against a 10,000 sq ft warehouse on the pricing page.
Warehousing Pro
Warehousing Pro is a 3PL in Nashville, Tennessee, operating since 2013, covering warehouse storage, pick and pack, kitting and assembly, subscription box fulfillment, freight handling, cross docking and container devanning, with a dedicated Amazon FBA prep line. Their prep page walks through Amazon's own requirements in detail: FNSKU labels over the UPC, transparent poly bags at 1.5 mils or thicker carrying a barcode or ASIN label and a suffocation warning where parts are small, and wood pallets at 48 by 40 inches within 1,500 lbs and 72 inches. What it says about their own process is thinner, four workflow steps with one repeating another word for word. They split shipments across Amazon's designated fulfillment centers by small parcel or LTL. They handle the Seller Central shipping plan, packing lists and box content information. Pricing is quoted rather than published. One practical note. There is no email address anywhere on the site, so the only ways in are the two phone lines and the contact form. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
