What sellers miss.
New York charges sales tax (4% state rate plus local add-ons) and has some of the highest industrial rents in the country, so the case is metro and port proximity, not price. For a pure cost play, compare against tax-free Delaware or Montana before committing.

Lulux Fulfillment
Lulux Fulfillment is an Amazon FBA prep center on Long Island, NY, operated by Lulux Inc, a New York corporation active since 2017; the prep operation itself dates to 2023. Pricing is unusual and transparent: 25% of each ASIN's Amazon FBA fee per sellable unit, all-inclusive with a $1.00 minimum, plus a $29.99 monthly service fee and a $500 retainer before first delivery. Storage is free for 30 days, then $5 per pallet per day. The operator also offers FBM and SFP support and claims hazmat handling and limited refrigerated storage. Caution: the warehouse street address is deliberately not published (the operator cites security), so we can confirm the state but not the city, and we found a single third-party review in three years.
