What you get.

What it will never do.
- It does not change your verification status, and it does not remove a flag. Flags are on evidence; payment does not change the evidence.
- It does not move you up in the editorial ranking or any list. Editorial is editorial.
- It does not route match requests to you. Shortlists route on fit, never on money.
- It is never undisclosed. Every spotlight carries a paid disclosure banner and a "Sponsored profile" page title. That labeling cannot be bought out.
- It does not promise search rankings. What you are buying is the research, the writing, and the reuse license, not a position in Google.
The honest part, up front.
Every spotlight includes a section titled "What we could not verify." It carries every caution your directory listing carries, and it cannot be removed or bought out. When you request a spotlight we will tell you exactly what that section will contain for your listing, before you pay. If that is not something you want on a page about your business, this is not the right product.
You review the draft for factual accuracy before publication, and we fix documented errors of fact. Tone and the disclosure are not up for review, and we are the final arbiter of what is a factual correction versus a tone request.
How it works.
- Request. Email us from the button above with your listing URL. Eligibility: published listings that are not currently flagged. Not listed yet? Apply first; a spotlight cannot be bought to bypass the directory standard.
- Pre-screen.We confirm we can verify enough to write the piece, and we tell you what the "What we could not verify" section will contain. Then we send the payment link. If we cannot verify enough, we do not start and you are not charged.
- Research and draft. We write it. You review for factual accuracy, one revision round.
- Publish. Within 10 business days of payment, pausing while we wait on you. Your reuse license vests at publication.
Refund terms, exactly:
Full refund any time before we deliver your draft. Once we send the draft for review, the research and writing are done and the fee is earned; you may decline publication, but the fee is not refundable, and a declined piece is never published and never reused by either side. If your listing becomes flagged between payment and publication, we hold publication until the flag clears; we refund only if the flag reflects a permanent closure that makes publication impossible. A verification flag applied after publication is not a refund event.
A spotlight is a separate, one-time, clearly labeled paid product. It is not part of our verification or the Featured placement subscription, and neither product changes rankings, verification, or match routing.
